Benzenedisulfonic acid, also known as 2,2′-disulfonic acid or BDSA, is an organic compound with the formula C6H6O6S2. It is a white solid that is soluble in water and commonly used as a building block in the synthesis of other compounds, such as dyes and pharmaceuticals. BEDSA is also used as a chelating agent and a complexing agent.
